“Good Business” documentary features Social Enterprise Heroes

JDQ Systems Inc is pleased to announce the TELUS Optik TV three-part documentary series, ‘Good Business’, featuring local businesses and social enterprises in the 2014 Social Enterprise Heroes Business Case Competition. Co-produced by enterprising non-profits BC, ‘Good Business’ follows contestants from the moment they are selected to participate in the competition, to the final announcement of the 2014 winners.

Good Business Episode #1

Three social enterprises find out they will be competing at the Social Enterprise Heroes competition. The top pitch to a panel of experts could mean thousands of dollars of grant money and business consulting help.

Good Business Episode #2

Three social enterprises teams start to prepare for their pitches leading up to the competition. Problems arise when teams run short on time, personnel, and patience.

Good Business Episode #3

The day of the competition has finally arrived. With tension mounting and cash and prizes up for grabs, 3 social enterprise teams take to the stage to pitch to a panel of business leaders.

“As I watched the TELUS Good Business documentary on the Social Enterprise Heroes event, it reinforced how rewarding it is for everyone involved. As a judge I see the final presentations and get to work with the winners once all the dust has settled. But there is so much more to the ‘end-to-end’ process. The documentary really put all that into perspective and it was a joy to watch. This is a “must-see” for any organization thinking about getting involved in Social Enterprise Heroes 2015!” Jon Morris, President, JDQ Systems Inc. and Social Enterprise Heroes Co-Founder.
