JDQ Systems Inc.
is pleased to announce its selection of both Atira Women’s Resource Society and Eastside Movement for Business & Economic Renewal Society (EMBERS) as it's recipients of the JDQ Fall 2008 3Spheres of Reciprocity™ Initiative.

The JDQ 3Spheres team of volunteers will be focusing their expertise on a common issue for both non-profits. EMBERS and Atira need to develop and implement systems for accurately measuring, evaluating and reporting success.  Without these systems, many NPO’s find it difficult to share their successes with funders, potential funders, donors and the public.

JDQ’s President and 3Spheres team leader, Jon Morris, says: “The 3Spheres volunteer team of business process experts has extensive experience in data collection, analysis and measurement of outcomes in the business sector.  The opportunity to apply this knowledge to assist non-profit organizations that serve the Vancouver downtown Eastside is a very exciting challenge that will require an innovative solution.”  During this 3-month project, JDQ will provide leadership and support with the same rigor as any other JDQ initiative.

“At EMBERS we help people re-establish themselves in the world, both economically and socially.” says EMBERS Executive Director, Marcia Nozick, “In addition to measuring the numbers of jobs and businesses created, we need to measure the social impact and transformation in people lives, which is our real success. We look forward to working with JDQ to demonstrate the value of what we do.”
