JDQ President Accepts ASQ Vancouver Partnership Award

 

JDQ Systems Inc. is pleased to announced that Jon Morris, JDQ President, was recently awarded the American Society For Quality (ASQ) Vancouver Section Partnership Award.  The award was presented at the 2016 Annual ASQ Vancouver Conference on May 26th.

David Muncaster, ASQ Vancouver Chair, explained, ” This award is presented on behalf of the Section Leadership Committee each year to deserving recipients who partner with ASQ Vancouver to fulfill their Vision to support and empower Quality Management Professionals throughout British Columbia.  As a non-profit, strictly volunteer organization, Jon’s contribution has, and continues to be, invaluable!”

When accepting the award, Mr. Morris reflected on the many ASQ Vancouver Community Good Works (CGW) and JDQ 3Spheres of Reciprocity™ collaborations: “The ASQ Vancouver’s unique Community Good Works initiative has provided many opportunities for helping and learning over the years.” he said “While I am honoured to be recognised for my role in this partnership, the real reward is in the ‘doing’.”  Jon thanked the many other volunteers that participated over the years and encouraged ASQ member to experience the sense of purpose that CGW projects offer.
